According to the local villagers, the governor’s daughter, Dona Paula de Menezes jumped off the cliff as her family refused her to unite with her lover. How to Reach
The nearest railway station is the Karmali station, situated at 14kms from the Dona Paula beach. Additionally, State government bus services are also available, and Panaji is the nearest bus station which is around 6kms from the beach.
